California Trucking Jobs

Looking to obtain a commercial driver’s license for a trucking job in California? This is the California licensing information that you will need to fully understand California CDL requirements. Those who apply for a CDL must be 18 years of age or older. Anyone who is looking to drive hazardous materials must be 21 years of age. The same age requirement goes for those who are looking to drive across state lines.

Other California CDL requirements include a medical certificate, a vision test, and proof of age (birth certificate). Applicants who provide the required California licensing information will then be asked to pass a written skills test. The written test covers information found in the California CDL Manual. Applicants will then qualify for a practice permit, which will allow them to get in valuable practice before taking the skills and driving test. Those who sign a Certificate of Driving Skills, along with their employer, will be able to bypass the driving test.

California DAC – Drive A Check Report

What Is A DAC Report?
The California DAC employment report is a detailed summary of a trucker’s work history in the trucking industry. Most trucking companies today participate in sharing this information about truckers. Our team will assist truck drivers in ordering copies of their DAC Reports. These reports can then be uploaded to your Drivers Resume.
